Vulcan 900 custom edition has lighter of weight than another, it's because Custom edition uses smaller tire type, and lighter weight in other points. So if you want to try the Kawasaki cruiser series, Vulcan 900 is one of the best value in it class, it's cheap, lower motorcycles size, good big tire (fat 180-series rear tire size) for comfortable riding. Actually, Kawasaki also has released the Kawasaki Vulcan 750 edition, but I can't found the new 2012 edition for it, so the Vulcan 900 is the lowest series of Vulcan cruiser today.

Basically, 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic has powered by 903cc of engine capacity, liquid-cooled, digital fuel-injection, V-twin engine, and 5 speed transmission, it's more more than enough cruiser motorcycles for beginner. This bike has beauty looks appearance and cool style design, you can see it on tank-mounted instrument on Vulcan 900 classic and it also come with fuel gauge. Don't worry about the fuel-tank capacity, 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic has been born with large fuel-tank capacity, it's around 5.3-gallon and Kawasaki said that it's largest fuel-tank capacity in it class, great.
