Yamaha YZ 125 is one of best beginner dirt bike / cross bike, 125cc with liquid-cooled is enough for new rider, but you must remember that "2011 Yamaha YZ 125" is 2-stroke bikes.., it's mean you can get more responsive engine with 2-stroke bikes !!
