Yamaha R15 2.0 is the latest generation of Yamaha YZF-R15, this bike was released last month, 2011 September in India. Basically, Yamaha R15 2.0 powered by 149,8 cc of engine capacity, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke type, SOHC, 4-valve, and six speed transmission. We know that before the all new Yamaha R15 comes, this bike rumored will bring more than 20HP of maximum power, but in the fact, Yamaha R15 2.0 just only has 17PS @ 8,500rpm of maximum power, well it's almost same with the older version.

The new Yamaha R15 version 2.0 comes to fight with CBR150, but you have to know it, Yamaha R15 is not same with CBR150R, CBR comes with 150cc DOCH engine type, while Yamaha R15 just 150cc SOCH engine type, so don't confuse about the prices, CBR150 is more expensive than Yamaha R15, but CBR150 better engine than R15 although the power and also performance of both is not so different. CBR150 and Yamaha R15 was below 20Hp of maximum power, correct Me if I was wrong. So.. it's defending your taste, if you like the all new CBR150R with DOCH engine, you can choose it, but if you want to try the latest gen of YZF-R15, The R15 version 2.0 was ready today. Good luck.
